Our rates are reasonable and our programs have proven results
As a small business, we specialize in our ability to customize any service and tailor it to meet the individual’s or family’s needs. We are responsive in making sure that what we offer is a great match with the need discussed in order to deliver effective results. This ranges from individual services to scaled programs in test preparation, professional development offerings, and academic services.
Free Consultations
Free consultations may be scheduled to discuss a wide variety of topics. This allows the individual an opportunity to discuss their needs and allow for a determination to be made on how SolutionSkills may be able to provide the appropriate service.
Evaluations
SolutionSkills continually provides opportunities for service evaluation by its participants, whether it be the student’s completed first tutoring session or an evaluation of a test prep class. This ensures that we are connecting and meeting the needs of our students. Asking for honest and constructive feedback allows our customers to provide information that helps us continuously improve in order to provide better service and outcomes.
Cancellation Policy
For most scheduled services, we must be notified of cancellation by 6pm of the preceding business day to avoid penalties. If we are notified after that time, a $25 service charge will be assessed, depending on the program or service. For tutoring sessions, a fee is assessed. If the student is a “No show” for a scheduled session, there is a charge equal to the full amount of the original service. For classes, a full registration can be cancelled before class begins and this amount may be transferred to a later class.
We take a variety of payment methods (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, debit card, check, or cash) and payment plans are available for most services.
Pre-Payment of Services
All services are pre-paid. Once the program, service, or class is determined, payment is necessary to proceed. Our office will assist in making special arrangements if needed or determined.

Subject 1-1 tutoring
- For a single session: $70 + $35 registration fee
Test Prep 1-1 tutoring for SAT & ACT: $80
- For a single session: $80 + $35 registration fee
Study Skills
- Individualized Study Skills Program: $429 + a $60 assessment fee for 5 sessions
- “A’s are Easy” study skills workshop: $99 per student
Test taking skills: $55/45 minute session
Counseling: $90 per 60 minute therapy session (ask about sliding scale rates)
