College Admissions Workshop for Parents & Students: Essential Steps
Learning about college admissions has never been more important during these times of budget cutbacks and rising standards. This timely evening workshop gives parents and the college bound high school student the critical information on how to plan, apply and get accepted to college. A panel of experts will discuss these topics as well as how to go about this arduous task in a planned and informed way. “Getting Started on College Applications” Workshop
Our Getting Started on College Applications Workshop is a four-hour interactive, small group workshop that will enable a college bound high school senior to get started on his/her college applications. He/she will learn all that is necessary to begin and make great progress on this all-important task, allowing students to use time during the summer to move through this important process.
Student should bring a laptop computer with wireless Internet access.
- 3 hours of instruction on everything needed to begin the

- 1 hour of search and comparison of colleges online
- College Planner binder with calendar
- Creation of a customized ‘To Do’ list
- Assistance with online applications
