Randall S. Vickers, M.S.
President & Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Randall S. Vickers is the founder and owner of SolutionSkills, Inc. Mr. Vickers is a product of the Miami-Dade school system and received his bachelor's and master's degree from Florida State University. He was the director of guidance at Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, Florida from 1977-1985. He was the assistant director of the Honors & Scholars program at Florida State University from 1985-1988. After starting SolutionSkills in 1987 with two other educators, Mr. Vickers began working full-time there in 1989.
He is a licensed mental health counselor and was once president of the Mental Health Association of Leon County. He has served as a board member of the Leon County Schools Foundation, the FSU College of Education Alumni Board, the School Advisory Committee at Leon and Lincoln High Schools, and has been a business partner with numerous other schools in Leon County.
He has conducted workshops outside the education establishment, most recently with a unit in the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice in Tallahassee. Other training contracts and/or presentations have been with the Diabetes Center at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare Center, the Florida Department of Education/School Improvement Section, and the American Counselors Association.
